The following flight plan has been inserted into the navigation system: WPT1, WPT2, WPT3, WPT4, WPT5.
Between WPT1 and WPT2, a clearance is given to proceed directly to WPT5. In order to achieve this the pilot must:
use the automatic pilot in the heading mode (HDG) as it is not possible to modify the flight plan in flight.
erase (with CLR) WPT3 and WPT4.
erase the flight plan and retype a new one.
type DIR TO WPT5 on his keyboard.
