This figure shows the climb limited-take off mass. Take off at a mass not exceeding that given by Figure 4-5 will ensure:
that take off obstacles will be cleared
that the take off distance available will not be exceeded
that the minimum climb gradient requirement will be achieved with all engines operating
that the minimum climb gradient requirement will be achieved with one engine inoperative
