If a JAA member state validates a licence issued by a non-JAA state. How long is the period of validation?
The licence is only valid during the remaining period of validity in accordance with the rules of the non-JAA issuing state
Only one year and must then be replaced by a full JAA licence
A JAA member state is not permitted to validate a non-JAA licence
A full period of five years just the same as any licence issue by a JAA state
